You may notice that the lobby card for the Bugs Bunny cartoon Herr Meets Hare has the phrase "A Leon Schlesinger Production". You may think that's an error, but I think that part was true.
As you know, the short was released in early 1945, shortly after Schlesinger sold his studio to Warner Bros., and the titles had the phrase "A Warner Bros. Cartoon". But it contains the Merrie Melodies production number 7-13, putting it order right after The Weakly Reporter and before shorts like Hare Ribbin' and The Old Grey Hare, meaning it was produced in 1944 under Schlesinger, but not released until the year after, and by that time, the red-colored rings were in use (unlike the blue rings used on other 1944 shorts).
