Are there any collectors of the formats?

I have at least 50+ Betamax tapes, if not more (lots of the Golden Jubilee volumes, lots of recorded tapes with some 80s Disney Channel programs, Looney Tunes specials, Garfield specials, Bullwinkle Show, some Disney retails (Sleeping Beauty, Pinnochio, a Disney release of the British SuperTed cartoon), and other assorted releases).

Are there any Muppet related stuff on those recorded Betamax tapes that you bought recently?

I have one of the 2 rare re-release copies of Disney's Sing-Along-Songs: Zip-A-De-Do-Dah! which is the 1994 print with a print date of March 25th, 1997, the rare-re-release of Disney's Sing-Along-Songs: Friend Like Me VHS which has a print date of August 8th, 2001 (and it contains the same opening and closing previews from the original VHS tape), and several VHS recordings of Cartoon Network's airings of the classic Looney Tunes from the early 2000's (including the hard to find digital colorized versions of the black & white Looney Tunes like "Get Rich Quick Porky").

I've seen most Looney Tunes and MGM in the Beta format, that was also released on VHS. I believe the Beta's failure was due to length of recorded data. Which coincides with the earlier VHS's either being edited and/or sped up to get under the 60 minute timeline.

There might have been some. I'm not sure, but I'll check when I get the chance to!

I heard that the porno industry almost exclusively used VHS, which is why they sold better than Betamax.

Well, that's something I didn't want to know
