I recently came across this completed Howard Lowery auction from January 2014 when searching online. From the estate of Preston Blair, two photographic prints of the original Krazy Kat opening cards from two 1933 Columbia Krazy Kat cartoons on which Blair gets an animation credit. One is 8" x 10" and the other is 7.5" x 10". The one with the tree background is a style I had not seen before.
Based on the credits listed for Krazy Kat cartoons of the era in the
Catalog of Copyright Entries: Cumulative Series: Motion Pictures, 1912–1939 , the "tree" card is from
Whacks Museum, while the other one could be from
Krazy Spooks or
Stage Krazy (which were the next two released).
