This is what my cable TV box's guide lists for the voice cast for
I Yabba Dabba Doo!:
Joseph Barbera
Michael Bell
Charlie Brill
Greg Burson
Ruth Buzzi
No Henry Corden, Jean Vander Pyl, Frank Welker or Don Messick. (Though I could understand Sally Struthers not wanting to reprise her role as Pebbles. I don't know about Jay North reprising his role as Bamm Bamm.) The only thing I can think of is that they took the first five names from an alphabetical list of the voice cast.
(Also, I saw the end credits of
Top Cat while going through the guide. What a mess. Modern titles superimposed over the original animation, the end credits were sped up, and the image flickered. I hope the DVD set isn't like this.)
EDIT: I watched the end credits from a B & W network print of
Top Cat on YouTube. I guess the flickering is supposed to be there. But not everything else.
Also, I watched an entire episode of
Top Cat on my cable TV's "on demand". In addition to the messed-up end credits, I heard at least three characters voiced by Don Messick (including a dog that did the famous Don Messick snicker) in this episode. But his name wasn't in the end credits. I wonder if WB just slapped the same end credits on every episode of
Top Cat? Also it looks like sometimes Top Cat hanging a "Do Not Disturb" on his garbage can at the end is missing, sometimes it isn't. Again, I hope the DVD set isn't like this.
