After watching Cy Young's wonderful cartoon called "Mendelssohn's Spring Song" (1931), I was wondering if anyone knew if Young had produced any other cartoons for Audio-Cinema while he was animation director from 1930 to 1933. According to Christopher Sobieniak, this cartoon would have been produced as part of a series called "Jingles", so I'm hopeful that other cartoons like this one were produced by Audio-Cinema.
Unfortunately, Cy Young immigrated to the West Coast in 1934 to work for Disney, and from then on, the rest of his career in animation was a huge waste, as he was reduced to working on special effects. His animation in the Disney films is barely perceptible and, above all, has lost all the Chinese influences that made Spring Song so charming.
I really hope someone can help me track down the other cartoons Young produced.
