Apparently from out of nowhere, Warner Bros. Animation has announced a new Sylvester and Tweety direct-to-video movie...

Ehh, the designs and animation don't look as good as in "Looney Tunes Cartoons". Given the cheap "motion tweening" movements, I wouldn't be surprised if Yowza Animation or Cheeky Little Media was working on this. It also sounds like Eric Bauza's still voicing Tweety, and possibly Jeff Bergman as Sylvester, unless they finally cast a new voice actor for him. I also didn't hear ANY familiar cartoon sound effects, nothing from Warner Bros. or even Hanna-Barbera. (Maybe the actual movie will have some.) Too early to tell who's doing the sound services though, but it doesn't really sound like Advantage Audio or Warner Bros. Sound to me...

This is how they'll celebrate the canary's 80th anniversary? Seriously? I'm hoping DC's Looney Tune comic will at least do a small, proper (and hopefully better) story commemorating the millstone to somewhat make up for this mess.

Typically, I would laugh off an internet rant like this, but you're actually right, this really does suck. The only way I'll watch this is if I can get a big enough groupwatch to suffer, but if I did, I would play some prime Freleng cartoons betweens break, so I can keep people's attention high

This looks wretched, and I'm fairly certain that I will never see it. (Which is fine, I'm sure I'm not the target audience anyway.) That said, Jerry Beck gave the voice cast, and it looks like Eric Bauza is both Tweety and Sylvester, among other characters.
