I'm back on the forum, guys! Also currently in Pakistan on vacation. Anyways, going back on topic and replying to some messages that intrigued me:
Both have aired before, but Little Dutch Plate is from a reissue, I think it's one of the few that didn't get photoshopped somehow. The original end title (standard Jester) is up on one of those reels Steve scanned that Jerry uploaded years back
Um, MacPeter? The titles are photoshopped in the new "restoration". Look closely at the opening titles, please.
Magical Maestro will be airing on MeTV tomorrow. Since I just watched it uncut for the first time yesterday. It will be interesting to see how/if they censor it.
They will censor it, yes. They'll likely get rid of both the Chinese and blackface stereotypes, but I am not even going to explain this due to a recent controversy of censorship on this forum.
Just saw a Saturday Morning Cartoons commercial during Happy Days and Saturday Evening Puss was on there!
Already knew about that! Too bad that they won't show it.
I'm going to ask, if you could suggest Toon in with Me to play anything on Viewer's Choice, what would it be and why?
Honestly, RareSox, I would just go ahead and request anything that isn’t problem-laden. My reason? I'm really getting tired of the "reruns" nonsense, and when I requested "Porky's Last Stand" like last week ago, my request has yet to be approved or must have been rejected; I don't know, but I am not going to mop around or fret on this. Unless I was doing something wrong and someone can tell me how to properly send submissions to MeTV, then feel free to let me know via private messages.
I would sleep very easily tonight if someone such as Thad confirmed if "Mexican Joyride" is restored. While I am fine with "Pappy's Puppy" airing unrestored, I would be outright distraught if the former isn't, because that is one of my favorite LT cartoons, and I am worried sick about it's condition at WB right now. That’s all I will say on this subject, because I don’t want to get in trouble for fretting about this.
