The listing seems uncanny in description, but look; what I presume appear to be more I.B. Technicolor cartoons in 35mm, all patched together in a single reel....

Maybe Ub Kaufman knows something about this one.

This television element of 'Tar With a Star' must have been from a negative early in the cycle of Associated Artists Productions' syndication; notice the titles that are commonly associated with the television syndication of Popeye cartoons produced from the black and white era before Famous Studios switched to color.

Another thread worth reviving...

From a British seller, a couple of Mickey Mouse cartoons in 16mm silent retitled prints that, interestingly, retain the theatrical title background with United Artists references in the replacement openings:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/DISNEY-...T-CINE-FILM/284178442954

Here's an odd find... a group of Castle Films 16mm boxes that largely look like they were never used: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Old...NS-AND-MORE/274679421471

Just sold: a 16mm IB Technicolor print of the 1958 Paramount cartoon Grateful Gus: https://www.ebay.com/itm/MODERN-...UNT-TITLES-/154325466155

Also recently sold: a 16mm Kodachrome print of The Fistic Mystic (1946) with Paramount titles: https://www.ebay.com/itm/16MM-FI...-KODACHROME/154305600346

This completed listing is reaching the end of its 90-day viewability (thus I'm also posting one of the photos) but is worth posting: a letter dated July 5, 1939, from Charles Mintz to Al Stahl ("c/o Fleischer Studios") regarding two scripts and storyboards that Stahl had sent to the studio, and asking him to do more. Evidently Mintz was still involved with the studio as of this date even though the cartoons had already begun to be released without his name. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1939-Te...yment-Auto-/383805052806

The same seller had also auctioned off a bunch of model sheets for Terrytoons and Van Beuren Rainbow Parade cartoons from Stahl's collection; this seems to be the source of the model sheets that Steve Stanchfield will be using in the bonus features on his Rainbow Parade Blu-ray.

A fragment of the Disney Oswald "SLEIGH BELLS", about half the length of BFI's incomplete

I waited to post this until it was over, as I alerted parties to this when I first saw it

Same case with this newly discovered (albeit slightly inferior) print of RIVAL ROMEOS , missing some opening footage

A year ago I found a 100 Euro VHS of that Groovy Ghoulies/Daffy Duck special, which isn't worth $0.

Mister Hale, make sure when posting or discussing new finds, you actually link them, though I suppose something that long ago wouldn't be on ebay anymore

Speaking of such, a silent print of the Terrytoon FORTY THEIVES  was listed with original titles and some usually missing opening footage. I went for it but did not win

We can add this short to the mix on finds on eBay, considering there had never been a print as good as this despite it's stereotypes.

Here's a drawing for $295 from Daffy Duck & Porky Pig Meet the Groovie Goolies, but it looks like the King Arthur's Court special to me:
