Yes, You read right - for the first time in decades, The version Korty wishes to erase from existence is finally getting a home video debut after it's only exposure on HBO

And I can't help but take issue with how people insist on portraying Korty as a villain in relation to the dirtier cut. In the aftermath of the film's Cinefamily screening, Korty actually released a statement (now deleted from the Cinefamily's Tumblr, unfortunately) trying to clear the matter up, pointing out that he did NOT threaten a lawsuit against HBO when they showed the dirtier version as has been claimed for so long, and even stating towards the end that if people want the dirtier cut out on home video, then they should state as much.
