Volume 3 of the Pink Panther collection had some pretty nasty digital noise-reduction, from what I've heard. Do I think they would go back and re-restore those cartoons for later printings? I kind of doubt it, but that would make this box set worth purchasing for those who already have all six volumes.
From what I've heard the DVNR problems continued in Volumes 4-6. But "A Pink Quarterback" on Volume 3 may very well be the worst offender.
Oh well. I'll not be buying these anyway, since Kino insists on encoding their Blu-rays for region A only. Warner Bros. encodes ALL their Blu-rays and DVDs region-free; how frikkin' hard can it be?
