I wish I could say the same thing. I'm missing the Christmas discs as well as many of the other 'special' discs that he released from the Vault for one last time last August. My emails are going unanswered. I can understand the preorders taking longer than expected, but the old discs that just have to be burned should be straight forward. It shouldn't take 7 months. And if there is a legitimate reason for these to be delayed a quick email would have been nice.

I've ordered from Steve before, and while the preorders have always taken longer than I was anticipating, I've always received discs when everyone else has. This is the first time that I've been skipped over, and I let him know about it last December.

It's not so much that I'm unwilling to pay for his discs and wait a bit to receive them. It is that I'm not willing to pay for his discs and NOT receive them. That seems to be the case with the Christmas disc and the others that I ordered.

I'm not seeing an email from you. I sent a PM, but please also send an email to swat_thefly@yahoo.com to make sure I have your address and what is missing.

Thanks Steve. Sent an email to both addresses.

It's been a few days and I haven't heard from you Steve. Could you give me an ETA of when the discs will be mailed? I hate to do this publicly, that that seems to be your preferred method of communication since it's rare that you respond to private emails. (Though you have a couple of times in the past, so I know my emails are getting through.)

Instead of mailing out all these BD-Rs would if be possible for Steve to allow us to download the stuff we want? Maybe set up a Patreon and as a reward, give out accounts to a server some where hosting the files? I would love to just download H.265 MKVs for my Kodi drive instead of having to worry my disc isn't going to show up and then rip the files myself. I really want to support Thunderbean with buying some of these special sets but I'm phasing out my physical media with a nice NAS drive and I'm really scared by all these stories of discs never showing up.

I agree. I like Thunderbean's product a lot; I think they do a great job with their transfers of public domain material that would likely be unavailable otherwise. But I, too, have read stories from more than one account about how ordered products tend not to be delivered in a timely manner, if at all, which is why I've been holding off on buying a lot of their stuff until this issue is fixed. I love Thunderbean product, but I also shouldn't have to worry about whether or not something I paid for is actually gonna show up.

I can top that. While I was packing my VHS tapes last year, I found the Snappy Video Popeye Original Classics VHS tape that I got for Christmas in 1992! (Though it was ordered from the Whole Toon Catalog, not directly from Steve.) So I am a longtime customer.

(For the record, I pre-ordered "Grand Old Toons" but never received it. But I'm sure it got lost in the mail. (I do NOT have a high opinion of the United States Postal Service.) I received all of the other "special" Thunderbean discs I pre-ordered.)
