It's, unfortunately, the later. I sometimes wonder if Aaron has something against Walt.
Then I'm not going to bother. The television shorts either lack whatever charm or spirit that made the original cartoons entertaining in the first place or, in a couple of cases, go too far and sacrifice Mickey's true personality for gags that heavily mirror modern
SpongeBob in both structure and compatibility. (And excuse my flawed wording, "structure" seems to be a better word than "gross-out" in this regard)
If they're going to push those further and leave Mickey's filmography unavailable to those who can't stomach eBay and their insane
Treasures pricing or the (time-)compressed, sometimes edited (or colorized) uploads on YouTube, then I don't approve of all their plans. The only things that interest me the most so far are their "True Original" branding, the D23 Gold Member gift that was described in what I read, the Disney Store collection, and whatever may be coming out from their publishing company.
