I saw it announced on tv shows on DVD as well as Jerry Beck's Facebook page that Warner Archive is putting out a new collection of reissues titled "Ultimate Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies Collection".
According to the TV Shows on DVD website, "Ultimate Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies Collection will be a 20-disc boxed set containing every cartoon that has thus far been remastered and released as part of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection, Looney Tunes Super Stars, and Looney Tunes Platinum Collection releases, in chronological order, from Congo Jazz to The Great Carrot Train Robbery. Each disc will contain three bonus off-the-shelf cartoons as well, including Sinkin' in the Bath Tub, Egghead Rides Again, Racketeer Rabbit, Hopalong Casualty, Beanstalk Bunny, China Jones, Daffy's Diner, Cool Cat, and many more. Expected retail price will be $79.99."
According to a Facebook post from Jerry Beck, it'll also include the remastered Porky's Duck Hunt, all cartoons from Mouse Chronicles, and all cartoons remastered for the I Love Tweety discs that have not been released in America, and many cartoons will have new video transfers, with all cartoons from the first two Super Stars releases in their proper aspect ratio. He also confirmed that none of the restorations used for Porky Pig 101 will be included.
APRIL FOOLS!
