Hi All,
This is only by way of publishing what many of us already know.
Here's what I've purchased and am patiently (I mean it) waiting for:
Fleischer Rarities ordered: 12/16
Noveltoons ordered: 3/17
Screen Songs ordered: 5/17
Rainbow Parade ordered 6/17
Cartoons to the Rescue ordered 7/17
More Technicolor Dreams 1/18

Many of you will have more and some may have less of a list.
I'm doing this MAINLY in case I loose my paper list.
It is not done to apply "subtle" pressure on Steve or anybody.
I support his and others efforts with my money and my... well mostly my money and my enjoyment with the results, HOWEVER long it takes!

I don't mind the wait, I like the surprise in the mail. But I didn't keep track (well its all in my email somwhere) and at this point I don't even know what I've ordered that is still waiting. I'm sure this goes back to giving some money for some variation of Flip the Frog at least.

Every single word of this 100% describes my personal Thunderbean experience, too.

There's a bunch of them! This past year was an attempt to produce a lot of things with hope that the revenue from pre-orders and current sales would cover all the production costs as the sets moved forward. It didn't quite work, but work on all the projects continues. Flip the Frog is the biggest drain on the budget currently, but it's getting there.
Four titles are finished (one of those was never available for pre-order). The 'Official' sets will all be replicated. The delay on the first three is due to the expense of blu-ray replication.

Despite the delays, we're planning on all being out this year. Here's the current list and my best guess as to when they will be available/ shipped:

THUNDERBEAN & ’SNAPPY VIDEO)

’Official’ Sets in pre-order/progress:

Fleischer Rarities- Mid February
Mid Century Modern 1-Late February/March
Mid Century Modern 2-Late February/March
Cartoon Commercials Volume 2-March
Flip the Frog-May
Rainbow Parades-June
Noveltoons-June
More Technicolor Dreams-July
More Stop Motion Marvels-July

“Special” sets:

Screen Songs-February
Cartoons to the Rescue-February
Missile to the Moon-February
Soundies-February
The Thunderbean blu-ray Party Disc (with Reefer Madness)-March

I never heard of the last three titles planed for release before. Any chance of giving more info for these?

All 3 are primarily live-action Snappy Video titles offered for pre-order on the Blu-ray forum. I have the last 2 on pre-order.

The Party Disc with Reefer Madness is slated to have some risque bonus shorts, one of which is a certain infamous "adult" silent-era cartoon.

I do try to be patient. And I do really appreciate the update on where things stand. I love Steve's efforts (Thunderbean products truly rock!), but the huge amount of projects has obviously overwhelmed the gears at Thunderbean HQ. I understand the need to generate cash flow through the Specials, I really do. I sympathize with the conflict between art and commerce. But, of course, making the Specials - so very many of them (which I eagerly await, of course, as I order almost all of them) - also slows things down further. Add to that the fact that international orders do seem to take longer to get sent (I understand that mailing them is not as straight-forward as domestic mailing), and I'm currently waiting on 7 Specials and a pressed disc (dating back to orders made almost 2 years ago) that have already been released and sent out to others. (I do keep track. Someone needs to, as Steve - God bless him - seems to need reminding.) So, hopefully there's a package on the way to me.

Of course, even if I must wait longer, I'll still keep ordering or pre-ordering each and every Thunderbean release. They're too good to give up on.

It does sound like the dam may finally be breaking this year, so I do wish Steve the best in completing these projects, which are obviously labours of love.

Steve tells me that my package is on the way. Those little beauties will tide me over nicely until the rest of this year's bounty is ready to ship.

That is exactly how I feel. Thanks for saying it more eloquently than I could.

I'm really enjoying getting projects closer to their finish line. The cover for Fleischer Rarities will be up on cartoon research tomorrow with some other new info, and I'm working on getting other stuff all transferred. Transfer days are always exciting, and the next batch of stuff (including some Screen Songs) is scheduled for Friday. A friend just lent me some really amazing stuff in 35mm (as well as winning something I've wanted for many years on Ebay) and I've been debating doing another set right now of Academy Award nominee and Winners- may list that later tonight even. Cartoons to the Rescue will get mastered over this weekend finally.

Just finished a restoration of a cartoon that will be shown this weekend. Hardest cleanup I've ever done, easily.

Happy to have February be so busy in getting things out the door!

There is one order I'm still waiting on that I'm not sure if they have been sent out yet, and those would be the one offer from back in October where I ordered 4 discs from. Am curious if anybody got their sets from then.

Yes... best I could find out of 9 prints that people lent me! Have one with a track on it too that sounds like it's from the 30s or 40s....
