A Felix the Cat short with no titles. Checking from the Felix films Huntley has stored and comparing those with the descriptions from the Classic Felix Encyclopedia, this is "Felix Full O' Fight."


This was already linked to on Wikipedia, so some of you may have already see it, but here's a Felix cartoon that isn't mentioned in David Gerstein's filmography: "The Cat and the Kit."

I will say that at least the theme song in this game sounds a lot better than the one on that crappy NES game by THQ.

To start off, here's Eli Noyes' trippy 1973 animated film, "The Sandman". According to the description, he also worked on the CD-ROM game "Ruff's Bone" and for HBO, Scholastic, Nickelodeon, MTV, Pixar, Disney, Oxygen Media, and the TV show "Sesame Street". He also co-created the Nickelodeon show "Eureeka's Castle" and directed two sequences on MTV's "Liquid Television".

I apologize for double-posting, but here are some more things that I've found on YouTube:
First, another Felix cartoon (I can't shut up about him), "Felix Nabs the Nabber". According to David Gerstein's "Classic Felix Encyclopedia," this is a retitled version of "Felix Crosses the Crooks" (1924).


Here's "Felix on the Warpath". According to the same document, this is "Felix Finds a Way" (1922). Is the rhyming exclusive to these 9.5mm reissues? The silent Felix shorts I've seen with original titles don't rhyme and use a different font.


"Perspectum". The visuals look a lot like an Atari 2600 game!

Finally, the original titles for the 1936 Popeye cartoon "Little Swee'Pea"! (A bit of damage at the end, though.)

As a tribute to Disney Legend X. Atencio, here’s the Academy Award nominated stop-motion short, “Noah’s Ark (1959) which he animated with his partner and director, Bill Justice. The production of this short was explained in the anthology TV show episode, “A Rag, A Bone, A Box of Junk” (1964). An excerpt was supposed to be included in the “Walt Disney Treasures” DVD set, “Disney Rarities”, but somehow got left out:

A fragment from a Felix the Cat cartoon. The description matches up with David Gerstein's synopsis of "The Hypnotist" (1921), but there's nothing about Felix hypnotizing his wife in the video. Rather, it seems to contain a plot element from "Felix Hyps the Hippo" (1922) where Felix hypnotizes the horned hippo.
