And as a bonus, we have a tidbit from Jerry Beck via a Facebook post from Milton Knight:
"From LITTLE BOA PEEP - I just did an audio commentary for this one. The animation by "Dick Nicksen" is genius."

Little Boa Peep (1973) is one of the Blue Racer shorts, whose animation was made in Barcelona (Spain) by Pegbar Productions.

People are often overestimating how much "modern technology" can do with audio. No, you can't just completely remove one element –
laughter/voices/SFX – from an audio track like that. For that to be possible, the laughter would need to be in a wholly separate audio channel of the track (for instance only in one stereo channel, with the rest of the sound in the other; or in one channel of a 5.1 track). The laugh tracks in these old Pink Panther prints were just inserted on top of the original audio; ingrained into the sound track.

There's one thing they CAN do, however – find the correct, theatrical prints without the laugh tracks. Which I really hope they will do for the now-rumored Blu-ray release of the Pink Panther shorts.

Bit surprising how many "Dogfather" cartoons are getting commentaries considering that it's not a well-loved series.

"Dogfather" gets a better review score than "Misterjaw"? I expected the other way around.
