Okay I don't even get this one.

Irvin Jay????  (a mysterious sound editor who popped up in place of Treg Brown on "Wideo Wabbit" and "The Honey-Mousers"; an IMDb page on him  has appeared since this was posted)
This really doesn't do the awfulness of it justice, but...  (yes, another "Daffy + Porky + Groovie Goolies" thread; the Toon Tracker page J Lee linked to is dead)
What is Porky Pig and Daffy Duck Meet the Groovie Ghoulies?  (please don't ask me how I keep coming upon these threads; Thad's comment sums the movie up nicely)
Imagine this  ("Can you imagine what it would be like if ALL of the Warner Bros. cartoons were redrawn -- even the ones from the post-1948 era?" Too bad the fake images are gone, though.)
TTTP Cartoon of the Month - "Mr. Moocher" starring The Fox and Crow  (let me just link to an upload of the cartoon by Thad Komorowski here )
Overture to Disaster  (somebody was looking for "What's Opera, Doc?")

Since I first posted those threads mentioned in that recent (and, after reading the replies, odious) Toonzone thread, said thread added more. Here's the other threads, in chronological order of their posting (and keep in mind that all these threads were before the Golden Collections were released):
Why Cartoon Network SUCKS!  (yes, Cartoon Network eventually did bring Pokemon onto their lineup...yikes!)
CN's ratings are dropping  (insightful comments from J Lee; Thad's comment on Hamtaro and how it compares to other anime made me grin a bit)
Cartoon Network at it's "WORST" ever  (except things were only going to get worse from here...)
Here's something sad to watch...  (too bad the link is dead...apparently it's a commercial featuring Popeye; by this time, the first Golden Collection was about two weeks away)

And Mr. Carras, if you're reading, I would like to apologize for the slam against you in one of my previous posts in this thread.

Memories! Wow, it's an odd feeling when internet message board posts make you feel old!

Looking through some of these old threads, there's some really interesting discussions and it's great to see how far research into classic cartoons has come. A huge variety of information and videos can now be sourced quickly and easily on the internet – more than ever. Some of my favourite threads are the excitement when a new DVD was coming out – for me, DVDs like the B&W Mickey sets were a dream come true!

However, I'm also shocked by how frequently animation historians were childishly slagged off, disrespected and ignored in many of these threads and how often needlessly rude and thoughtless posts pop up. Fewer really knowledgeable researchers post regularly on the modern forum nowadays. I did figure this was because they are simply so busy with projects, but now I wonder if they were also put off by the bad behaviour of people with whom they expected to share a common interest.

People were complaining about Cartoon Network when I was watching it regularly as a kid? I stopped watching it around 2004 and started watching it regularly again in the 2010's (and some New Year's LTMM marathons).

Now I know that they dropped the classics over the years and didn't show classics that were on AMC, but STILL!

People didn't understand anime yet and hated it............

I know a lot of people have fond memories of that era but it really is when it went from a channel for cartoons to a channel for kids.

It was always a channel for kids (more or less).

After doing a Google search for Termite Terrace Trading Post, I found this list of what appears to be every single thread posted in the old ToonZone TTPP forums.

So, I may have some bad news. ToonZone is getting an upgrade and is moving to a new forum software. They say that all data *should* be moved over, but since the TTTP and What's Aired Today? areas haven't exactly been used or linked to on the main page in a long time, this may mean that ToonZone won't transfer this data over to the new software. Of course, I have no clue if they will or not and this is all based on guesswork.

Well, they finally got new forum software, and turns out both boards WERE moved over in the switch! And now, the original TTTP no longer redirects back to GAC! We can now freely roam the area as much as we want! [bugs]
