It's Paramount licensing these days. It's complicated but getting worked out...sigh!

I've been away from the forum for a long time, but I'm glad I checked in today. This is exciting news, and I look forward to the eventual Mr. Bug release!

I'm just going to post this here for easy reference, and because I STILL see people around the web asking about this (as recently as yesterday in a Cartoon Research comment thread ). This is the current – as of January 2018 – status of Thunderbean's "Mr. Bug Goes to Town" Blu-ray:

http://cartoonresearch.c...-on-dvd-blu-ray-in-2018/  Here is the relevant quote in full:

Quote:

The project that is in limbo at the the moment is Mr. Bug Goes to Town. We have a tentative license deal that got muddied up in the business office. Until “Thunderbean” is a bit bigger (and can offer more substantial guarantee money) it looks like this project is staying in a holding pattern. One of the reasons to have so many titles in a short period of time is to get “Hoppity” further along. Let’s see what happens…

Again, just posting this for documentation. When I saw that question on Cartoon Research yesterday, I knew I had read Steve's "in limbo" statement not too long ago... but it took forever to find back to the source. I was finally able to find it thanks to tonyboy85's comment in this thread , but I thought it would be relevant to also have the main thread for the Blu-ray updated with this info.
