Well a censored eleven dvd announcement may be "lame", but my first prank of the year had people fall for it hook,line and sinker times ten. They actually thought "Charlie the Cheeseboy" was an upcoming Thunderbean set (it must of been Goofy Goat's 2-color print that got people to fall for it). April Fools Day was the only day of the year that I could pull this off without getting banned (also I had Steve's permission to do this).

Though last night I realized: Many April Fools Jokes are not supposed to be funny to the one who was fooled.

That gets me thinking of something I've thought of for a few years. What if instead of playing jokes on April 1, everybody can pick only one day of the year to pull April Fools-style jokes, getting to pick one particular day each year, so nobody would be expecting it? Of course in my mind there'd have to be some law/social standards against doing it twice in one year, and some way for people we didn't prank to know whether we already did the pranking.

That's an interesting idea, but I fear it would be difficult to police and would lead to a lot of viral mis-information being spread out into the internet. And once it gets out, it's very difficult to reel it back in.
