I digitized almost anything not released on DVD which I don't have a better TV recording. I'm planning to digitize anything anyway.

I don't have Volume 5 of the MGM set because it's way too expensive and I don't have enough budget. I'm waiting to see a cheaper offer on the internet if I get lucky. If you can help me out, let me know.

I also didn't buy yet the Japanese sets, because they're very expensive, and they're also available in VCD format. I digitized the PAL VHS versions of them anyway.

That's a good idea since not everyone is aware of their DVD releases.

If you're going to do that, you should add the wrap-around Looney Tunes TV specials of the 70s and 80s, too. I hear "Tweety's Circus" is available as a part of "Bugs Bunny's Easter Funnies".

EDIT: Wait, were you referring to the films themselves? (I thought that the movies were referred to as sources of the shorts themselves.) Then all of the TV specials themselves ought to be added then.

I can add the TV Specials and Movies if you guys want them. However, I can't guarantee that I'd have time to do it until sometime in June (life's busy for me at the moment, but it'll definitely lighten up by summer.

If someone else is willing to do it, I'd be perfectly fine with that and would be happy to add it to the main list when I have time to do so. 🙂

UPDATE 7/2/16: I just added the two new additions mentioned by Toonatic to the list (The Shanty Where Santy Claus Lives and Bacall to Arms on separate Blu-Ray releases), which was honestly long overdue. I also added some additional notes about some releases (which Cool_Cat provided in this thread way way back in September 2015 - also a long overdue addition to the list!) to the first post, along with Blob55's nice reference about Looney Tunes titles that some people may not have or have known about, due to several reasons.

I have no idea if/when I plan on adding any Looney Tunes movies and/or specials to the list.

I'd like to personally thank the 3 users I mentioned above (Toonatic, Cool_Cat, and Blob55) for their help in making this list a great resource for all IAD users and cartoon fans in general. I'd also like to thank everyone who uses this as a reference for their continued patience about when I update the list. I know I don't get around to updating it often, and I apologize for it.

Speaking of Mouse Chronicles, I got the DVD copy at Big Lots for only around $5.00 early this month. Now I own 2 copies of Mouse Chronicles on DVD and Blu Ray.

Still speaking of Mouse Chronicles, I have the Region 2 DVD and some of the prints used in the extra shorts are different. Mouse Mazurka is the older one while Mouse Taken Identity has some kind of weird stereo track. At the same time the main shorts are in progressive scan.

Btw it says Warner Kids on the top of the DVD case while on the back it says it's meant for adults. Logic [tweety]

In any case, it would be REALLY nice at this point if we could buy individually all the unrestored versions they keep in a shelf considering how they have no interest on new releases, and many shorts have been scattered around bonus content in feature movies and DVDs made for kids in Europe (France and Portugal in particular, I'm keeping this amazing copy of Of Fox and Hounds on my PC).

Yeah, even having unrestored stuff would be nice, since it would be higher quality than what's currently on the internet, plus there may be several AAP LTMMs with restored titles that we don't know about.

I tried to do my best to collect anything I could from TV recordings, but these days it's very difficult. Just think about it, Boomerang in Italy hasn't aired Looney Tunes pretty much since mid 2010 while many TVs have a required HD quota and have to air only the restored versions. Then there's also the problem of different video formats and such and wrong conversions.

My dream pretty much would be being able to have everything from multiple versions available and foreign dubs. For an example this is the copy I caught on TV a few months ago of Trick or Tweet, it's almost flawless.






The same channel has shorts like The Mouse on the 57th Street, all the Daffy/Speedy shorts and almost all the WB7 ones, but before they air them again it'll take ages.

That one yes because randomly they forget to enable the English track, but I can easily take the one from CN US, speed it up to 4% and mix it. Other shorts like A Kiddie's Kitty for an example had the English track too.

Those are the versions which were used for the dubs here in the late 90s which have dub credits after the ending card. Obviously these are stored by WB with dual audio and probably even the m/e track. Pretty much each country in Europe got their own.
