I know restoration has stopped for now, but when it starts back up, they could add a load of double-dips to save on restoration costs.

Just to add my thoughts on the subject, history, this has been chatted about across several sites before and hasn't had much of an effect! But anyway, make a release with the B/W cartoons and with the historical background and inclusion of "Hand Drawn" (Color) and "Computerized" (Colorized) on a disc set. Another release I'd like to see is a collection with "Made For TV Title Cards" as a bonus.

Basically, it would be near impossible to get that set released officially because of controversies, not in the least helped by the very fact that the Censored Eleven has that title to begin with. Why else has the second Tom and Jerry Golden Collection been delayed?

I guess, but Disney Treasures released many racist cartoons with no problems, so why can't WB do the same thing? I mean, they'd probably have an intro before each cartoon begins anyway, pointing out why it's so bad.

Then why are these allowed to be shown on DVD?

A lot of those cartoons are on the LTSS sets.
