Count Duckula - Complete Collection. 
Weirdly, the description claims this set to be region 2, yet the title claims it's "region 0." I've read strange reviews (scroll down) about this set not playing in United States DVD players but playing on computers just fine. This IS a PAL DVD, which inevitably has problems in NTSC players, but otherwise I'd think that this would be impossible unless 1) the computer has a RPC1 drive, which doesn't enforce region-protection, or 2) the computer's DVD drive was set to region 2. Anyone with this set willing to give any more info?

EDIT: It's a PAL DVD, so that explains why it has problems on United States DVD players, which use NTSC. Still doesn't explain what region the DVDs are, though.

While I don't own the set and couldn't tell you whether or not it's a Region 0 or a Region 2 set, I can tell you that it will play just fine on your computer. All you need is a program called VLC. It's completely free and it will play virtually anything that's a video or an audio track. I did test it with a Region 2 DVD of mine (from Japan however) and that one played just fine in VLC. 🙂

The previous release of the first series certainly was Region 0 (link to the full cover ). It’s not uncommon for British animated shows to be released as Region 0.

The wholesalers I have access to list the one you’re talking about as Region 2, but they’re not always very accurate. If the wholesalers had it in stock, I’d buy one and test it for you, but it’s currently out of stock.
