Hi list,

I'm debating doing one more of the 'Special' sets...maybe even calling it "The last one!". Some of the prints I was borrowing for Cartoon Cornered never came, but now they're here- when you borrow from collectors sometimes it's on their schedule. They are mostly 35mm, and there a few others I'd like to borrow as well from someone who will send them on time as well! There's also a 35mm Technicolor work print of a Famous Studio's Popeye here borrowed from a member of the forum (funny enough, I used to own that work print, sold it, and he bought it!). It's in the early stages of vinegar syndrome, so should be transferred sooner than later...

I'm also getting a bunch of emails from people that missed cartoon cornered as well, so I'll likely make both available for a week or so if we do it.

So, what do you folks think? Should I do another one of these?

On this note, all of the orders are now sent, including to all other countries. Cubby replications and Flip sneak previews are taking up most of the shipping duties right now. If you're missing anything or need a replacement disc of anything, please contact me (steves@thunderbeananimation.com).

Maybe not, because you need to work on Mr. Bug and Flip the Frog.

Ah just kidding! I will say yes because your borrowing one of my prints that DESPERATLY needs to be transferred in HD before it rots and smells like leftover mayonnaise. You can add the Archive.org copy for the soundtrack.

THANKS much for your agreement, oh king of all things Paramount! I'm not working on Mr. Bug just yet but looking forward to it- swamped a little at the moment getting orders out the door, but getting there. Other thoughts? Should we do this one- maybe we can call it "before it smells like leftover Mayonnaise". Any suggestions for a title?

Steve, did you get my small list that I left at your booth at Cinevent in June? I suggest using some of my request if you can find them. By the way, the mid-70's Claymation beer ad that I mentioned on my list was for Reiner Beer.

That would be great- but I don't know where to get a print! I didn't get your list Nick- sorry I missed you!

Thanks everyone for the emails with suggestions and wanting the set! I think we'll do it. PLEASE send other wants and I'll see what I can track down. There is a nice 35mm print of one of the MGM Happy Harmonies that showed up here- maybe it even won something! Please send suggestions- it may be the last one we do- you ALL know how disorganized I can be at times, but will get things together as fast as possible. I have a transfer session on Wednesday and will likely do all the films that are here already then. Nick- can you send your list again? Loony Tunes fans- what ones? Scrappy always makes an appearance I think...looks for other post!

I'm a little late to the party here. When is this thing available, how much does it cost, and how long will the offer last?

So- more folks have written me, and even a few said they'd lend a few really cool things. It looks like some more 35mm, a Scope Terrytoon in IB and other cool things. We'll do it! Announcing in a few minutes!

Drat.

Well, I'll might as well tell you what else was included in my brief list (which was written on the back of one your film flyers). The two others things on the list were "Beanstalk Bunny" (1955) which is not on DVD, and some early animation segments from "The Electric Company" and "Sesame Street" (if you can find any in reel form).

Also, can you please clear your PM box? It is very full. Thanks.
