I was wondering if anybody does have screenshots of the 1992 computer colorized version of the 1937 cartoon, "Get Rich Quick Porky"? [porky] I've seen the 1968 redrawn version on my DVDs, but I have yet to see the computer colorized version and I'm looking very hard all over the internet for said version. If you do happen to have some screenshots of the computer-colorized version of this cartoon, PM me or reply.

As far as finding good copies seems slim. Just keep hunting for the ones your after. Me myself prefer original release. And there's a lot of Warner Bros. B/W cartoons not officially released.

While this is true for most, not all redrawns and computer-colorized shorts have surfaced on the internet (case in point: Porky in Wackyland. Last time I saw that was on CN back in 2010 or so). The computer-colorized version of Get Rich Quick Porky, afaik, hasn't surfaced.

I did record the colorized version when it was on Cartoon Network on one of my blank VHS tapes I still have. But I didn't record the entire cartoon unfortunately, I started the recording at the part when Porky was going to the bank, I didn't record the beginning since I didn't notice it was on.

Heavens no, there's plenty not on DVD or Blu-Ray.

I heard the computer colorized version of Get Rich Quick Porky simply sepiatoned the backgrounds with a few color highlights added. Many 1992 colorizations pulled that shortcut, I recall.

Sometimes I really enjoy those computer colorizations. "Ali Baba Bound" looks great that way, IMHO (way better than the redrawn version, too.)

If you mean the copyright notices, there is no difference. For some reason, the 1990 and 1992 colorizations read "COLOR VERSION" on the copyright notice, while the 1995 colorizations had "Colorized version."

I will say some of the 1990 colorizations of the early 1940s cartoons look almost like they were originally made in color (like "Porky's Pig Feat," when CN would air it they would cut the opening and closing logos, so I had no idea back then it was originally a black-and-white cartoon that was colorized.)
