Hi all!

Had a quick question on Terrytoons' Astronut series. Were those cartoons shown theatrically or on TV? They're included in the Terrytoons theatrical filmography in the back of Leonard Maltin's Of Mice and Magic, but searching "Astronut" on Wikipedia redirects to "The Astronut Show", a syndicated television show that started in August 1965. But the first theatrical Astronut short was released in 1964! Any Terrytoons experts out there? I'm really confused!

And I also see that some Terrytoons listed on this site have their release years in the early 70s, after the studio closed in 1968.

Terrytoons tended to be made for both TV and theaters at that point. According to Charles Brubaker's filmography and credits list of the later Terrytoons , Astronut was no exception. (Regarding the other issue, the filmography also brings to light the big issue with the release schedule—those early 70s cartoons have copyrights dating all the way back to 1963).
