Gotta do a screening of carnival-theme related classic cartoons.
Any suggestion?
I'm pretty sure about a Columbia cartoon of the 30s, can't catch the name so far....

I hope these two suggestions are helpful!
"Carnival Capers" (1932, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit)
"The Cookie Carnival" (1935, Silly Symphony) (not sure if this counts, given the plot)

Oh, and the last part of "Porky's Garden" (1937) takes place at a carnival.

You thinking of "The Horse On The Merry Go Round" (1938), which was farmed out to the Iwerks studio?

Fare Play (Scrappy, 1932) and, to a lesser extent, Weenie Roast (Krazy Kat, 1931) come to mind as early Mintz/Columbia cartoons that involve carnivals. Popeye the Sailor (Betty Boop, 1933) would also fit the bill.
