I'm glad that there are people here that appreciate grain in animation, while in other relevant to Bluray forums, whoever talks about wanting grain in animation is considered a lunatic and that he doesn't know what he says..

Dear Mr. Stanchfield, just another idea for a special set that I thought of, if I may.
Since I love Christmas (and I guess many people do too) and Christmas cartoons, one Bluray disc with a collection of Christmas cartoons in the future would be sublime!!

If it's not too late to put in suggestions, the educational shorts Steve mentioned in another thread would be great additions to this 'special' set, as many as can be fitted on the disc.

One Disney Screenshot Comparison thread I used to read regularly on another forum descended into utter lunacy between two members from both extremes of the argument who clearly had no idea what they're talking about without engaging in scathing remarks and clouding facts with opinionated (and very emotional-sounding) responses. Was hoping that thread would steer back to the title instead of trotting out the same tired arguments for and against Disney's attitude towards "restoration".

So anyway back to the topic of this thread, if this is the movie I'm thinking of, watching a "raw" telecine from a 35mm IB Tech print will definitely be an interesting experience.

(we *might* be working around the clock on this right now... and transferring a few more things before offering a BDR version for this year...)

Received this and the Thunderbean Thursday set on Monday, had a skim through both today. Noticed the infamous pink flame shot on the feature is indeed pink on this print. The out-of-focus parts are unfortunate but the colour manages to hold up extremely well in those sections.

The Thursday set is chock full of truly weird bonkers stuff, sort of like an unofficial Cultoons 4. Highlights for me were all those TV commercials, Sam Bassett, the Bubble and Squeek toon (too bad it's a black and white print, but at least I can finally make out what's happening in those underwater bits) and those beautiful prints of two cartoons starring a certain famous cartoon feline.

Any history behind the two Arthurian toons on this collection, Steve? I presume both were made for television though I'm a little curious who worked on these films and whether we'll ever find out what they're actually saying in "King Algy"?

Still waiting for this (and other releases since March). [betty]
Mr Stanchfield, please check your pms and emails.
I have sent a pm here and 3 emails since 6 weeks ago, but I haven't received a reply.
I understand you must be busy, but I would appreciate it if thοse things pending were taken care of, so that I'll go on with other purchases like Snafu and Willie Wopper (I don't want them to pile up)
Waiting for 4-5 releases (including a couple of replacement discs for past ones).
