Will "Clock Cleaners" have the original audio of the alleged "swearing" in one scene?

Treasures Cut: ahh nuts! and duck gibberish

Donald Duck

Edit: The Theo Gluck restoration with the original soundtrack can be found on Have A Laugh Vol 2 DVD

I really enjoyed the show, especially how they used the peacock and sponsor tags to give a sense of time travel. Though I spotted a little DVNR in there.

This is how the show would have been done back in the day...
  • NBC Peacock
  • Teaser/Title Sequence/Episode Title
  • Sponsor tag
  • 1st quarter of the show
  • 1st commercial
  • 2nd quarter of the show
  • 2nd commercial
  • "We now pause for station identification."
  • 3rd quarter of show
  • 3rd commercial
  • 4th quarter of the show
  • 4th commercial
  • Preview of next week's show
  • Sponsor tag
  • Closing credits
  • Disney movie plug
  • "Produced in color, in association with the NBC Television Network!"

I just saw the "Disneyland Around the Seasons" episode recently and I enjoyed it after not seeing it in a long time.

The last time I saw that episode was on Disney Channel's Vault Disney block in the early 2000s, before it was taken out around 2001.

My recording cut off Maltin's intro to "Those Calloways" in addition to a brief power outage. Is there anywhere online I can watch the complete intro?

Edit: Never mind. All the Disney shows are on TCM On Demand for the time being. So I found it.

Don't know about the DVD, much less who did the voices, but I've long read since as a 13-year old a year after pub.of the original 1973 edition of the famous "Disney Films" Leonard Maltin book about the redubbing of that movie.

Oh yeah. And "Greyfriars Bobby" from the same studio (1961) had the same treatment.

Again, no info on who did the redubbing or when.

the dvd has the 1959 audio version.

compare the DVD to the Disneyland tv episode "I Captured the king of the leperchans and the recent Theo Gluck remaster of the film with the redubbed soundtrack.

1959 audio (note how he counts in Galic)

redub (note now he counts in English)

(old vhs clip)

here is the amazon link the 2004 Disney DVD with the 1959 audio: https://www.amazon.com/D...eywords=Darby+o+gill+dvd

I was kind of hoping the December line-up would partly be a tribute to Walt considering what this year marks. I thought they would air the theme park film, "The Walt Disney Story" (1973).
