Lot's of Questions you've got there.

I think I can answer a few. For starters, ALL Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts to my knowlege have been produced for the theratical audience. Cartoons such as Spaced Out Bunny and Portrait of the Artist as a Young Bunny were made for television, more specifically, they were produced for television specials. Also, as far as I know, All Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts were packaged with films by Warner Brothers, but it could have been up to the theater who carried the shorts to decide what short was playing with what film. That should answered all of your questions, me lad. Hope this helps.
